When Liam Óg's party night ends in a police interrogation room, Irish teacher JJ, who is supposed to interpret for the English-speaking policewoman, helps him not only hide the LSD in his notebook. The texts contained therein by Liam Óg and his buddy Naoise about drugs, sex and resistance against the British establishment turn into an unplanned wave with a few beats from JJ's garage, which overwhelms all of Belfast. But the police, politicians, and paramilitary all have their own reasons for wanting to nip the band's success in the bud.
