No other Land (2024)

Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, has been fighting against the mass displacement of his community by the Israeli occupation since his childhood. Basel documents the gradual obliteration of Masafer Yatta as soldiers destroy the homes of families - the largest act of forced relocation ever carried out in the occupied West Bank. He meets Yuval, an Israeli journalist who joins his struggle, and for over half a decade they fight against the expulsion and grow closer in the process. Their complex relationship is strained by the extreme inequality between them: Basel, who lives under a brutal military occupation, and Yuval, who is unhindered and free. This film by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four young filmmakers was created during the darkest and most horrific times in the region, as an act of creative resistance against apartheid and a search for a path to equality and justice.
